Over the Holiday weekend of July 4th, my family went to Austin's Botanical Gardens. We had a lot of fun, despite the heat! It was a great chance to get some nice shots, and I thought I'd share with everyone.
We toured the Japanese water gardens, full of water lilies, ponds, bridges, and lots of bamboo! The gardens also had a pond full of water lilies at the entrance, and there was a few dragonflies that were lounging on the flowers.
All in all, I got some great floral shots, and we didn't even get to half the garden! I am looking forward to going back and shooting more - when it's a bit cooler!
